Damien Loves His Dada Mathias

A few cute things Damien does with dada. First, he says "Dada?" alot. Dada responds with "Yes Boss." To which Damien echos, "Yes boss." It is soooo cute.

Another thing Damien does, is call Dada Mathias on occasion. He picked this up from Momma of course. It is funniest when he says that in the morning. Just the other morning, we were lying in bed and awoke to a spirited "Mathias, Mathias, Mathias." Too funny.

Some of Damien's favorite activities to do with Dada is play "soccer ball" - especially on the concrete sidewalk at the park where he tries to kick the ball into the street, play frisbee (he can actually throw it), rough house, bubbles (Dada is the master bubble blower) and help papa weed (i.e. throwing the pulled out weeds everywhere and distributing dirt all over the sidewalk).

Damien sure loves his Dada.

And his Dada sure loves him back. As Dada says, "He's alright!"

But how could you not be smitten with this face - drool and all?

Damien Does Daddy Day Care

As you dear readers know (thank you Michael Suave for always giving sweet comments) Damien gets to kick it with his Papa on Thursdays and Fridays. Daddy Day Care! The boys usually have a grand ole time. The rules are relaxed, PJ's all day, no problem, no sweater, no problem. Papa is proving to Momma that she may be a TAD, and only a small minuscule tad, over protective. Here are some fun shots from a day when D also got to hang with our favorite and frequent (besides Grandmas of course) house guest Brian Wenzl.

Damien Loves His Special Time with Papa

Damien now gets to kick it with Papa on Thursdays and Fridays. Damien just loves to hang out with Papa. He gets super excited when Papa takes over from Mommy after the morning shift. It makes it hard for mommy to leave her favorite people for work. Papa is really kind, and often take D to meet mommy on her walk home from work so she can see her little boy as soon as possible.

Bye Mommy, we'll be just fine.

Sorry Mom, we can't tell you what we do without you, it's a man thing.
