Damien is 7 Months

Damien is a big, healthy and happy 7 month old. In his seventh month, Damien learned how to sit up unassisted. He is still a little wobbly, and thrusts himself backward or sideways without warning sometimes, but he can sit up and play (supervised) for quite some time. He outgrew his play gym, preferring a wide open space since the toys were just hitting him in the face. He also got his first teeth! He started with one lower left center and one upper left center. Luckily the teething hasn't been too bad. He now sleeps through the night completely, going down at around 7/7:30 and waking up at 6:16/6:30. This is wonderful. He loves going to the park and going on the swing, and playing with his buddies. Although Damien is a bit of a bruiser, he's quite rough and likes to steal his friends' toys right out of their hands and mouths! He is also quite a babbler now, especially when he is hanging out with his monkey and giraffe in his crib. He no longer wants to be rocked to sleep, instead, he is happier if you just leave him alone with his monkey and giraffe, and he tells them all about his day for a good 15-20 minutes before dozing off to sleep. And in the morning, he must wake up and tell them all about his dreams, since he can babble and play with them for up to an hour! My how times have changed.

Damien loves to eat, as his size would suggest, and he loves loves that little yellow car. Thank you Kate for all the bath toys, perfect teething toys and he LOVES them.
